Timberland Highlands Resort : Not Just Your Ordinary Staycation

Yes, of course, it is still enjoyable and relaxing when we choose to spend a quick getaway fun weekend in a cozy hotel just to de-stress from a busy week, without the need for a long drive, just munching on great food, having a relaxing dip on the pool and sipping on that soothing cocktails.

📍LOCATION/RESORT AREA/PARKING

'With their 677 hectare premiere township of Filinvest Land in San Mateo' (based on Tripadvisor Website), and Total of 70 Rooms, this resort for sure, has so much to offer from rooms, facilities, dining and activities. We were welcomed with huge entrance, parking and reception area. A little stroll from the reception area and the stunning view of the mountains will surely start your staycation with a bang! Check-In is 3pm and Check-Out is 11am.

🏨ROOMS

Booked via Agoda. Price Rate Per Room Per Night for 2 adults with breakfast starts at around 4,000. You can also choose a room-only without breakfast. Rooms available are Deluxe Twin, Deluxe King, Premier Deluxe King and Premiere Deluxe Twin (these rooms are for maximum of 2 adults and 2 children).

🍽DINING

Their restaurant is called "Ridge Cafe" which is open daily from 7am until 9pm. They also have the Pool Bar beside their big swimming pool. Food is delicious with big serving and the location of the Pool Bar is absolutely refreshing overlooking the mountains and the city.

🏊‍♀️ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES

Swimming Pool : our favorite. Pool is huge and looks clean. Just like the Pool Bar, it also has the overlooking refreshing view of the mountains and the city. Loved the pool lights at night. There is also a kiddie swimming pool.

Billiards:ordered cocktails and beer while we enjoyed playing billiards. Billiards is free of charge for pool bar customers.

📣I suggest to stroll around the whole huge property and don't forget to bring your camera as there are always stunning different views of the mountains, gardens, and the resort's overall designs and interiors. If you want to jog or bike, Timberland is also a great place to do exactly that.
